Nomen omen, the Backdrop sideboard by Alain Gilles is a furniture element that acts as a backdrop, adding value to the elements in the room where it is placed. One of its characteristics is the vertical cut of the doors, a clear reference to the façades of the modernist buildings by which it is inspired. The result is a well-structured design that evokes a sense of calm, thanks to the repetition of the front vertical element along the entire length of the sideboard.
