This year during there were once again countless items of furniture and special moments during the Milan Salone. A small photo album of memories.

With “7 Studies”, gallerist and furniture maker Jörg Schellmann is showing in Munich how seven renowned artists and designers, among them Stefan Diez, Liam Gillick and Donald Judd, are furnishing workspaces. And that they are not all that far from the Renaissance studiolo.

“Featured Editions” developed by the imm Cologne in collaboration with Stylepark and premiering at this year’s fair presented a broad spectrum of concepts that were both creative and artistic. The new format saw a positive response from exhibitors and visitors alike – plans for the next installment in 2014 are already in the pipeline.

No festival of innovations such as is Milan, but then no one would have expected that. All the same, the imm cologne seems to have steadied up despite the crisis. A tour with some of the most interesting company presentations and products.
