For the "Padiglioni" table, Alain Gilles was inspired by one of the internationally most famous Bauhaus buildings: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's pavilion, which he realised for the 1929 World's Fair in Barcelona.

Product description
Harmony and lightness of forms are the hallmarks of the Flame Console. Elegant and versatile, the Flame Console is reminiscent of a small visual backdrop, which opens up to embrace the different contexts of domestic living and common areas in the hospitality world. As part of the design, the rigour of the top establishes a dialogue with the two flared sinuous metal supports on which it appears to be suspended. There is a wide range of customization possibilities as the top is available in wood, ceramic or marble and finishes that contrast with the visual and structural solidity of the pair of metal legs.
